I like this group right out the gate.
This is one episode that lived up to its hype regarding a castaway:
Russell (Foa Foa) told 39 different lies in the first half hour---poured everyone's canteen water on the ground---burned people's underwear in the campfire---and they STILL went on to do his bidding at tribal.
Unbelievable.
I'm hooked. Again. |

Soooo excited!! A new season, a new thread to complain about who is an idiot/sucker/quitter/con artist/instigator/hater or actually a bit likeable ;).
I havent seen the first episode yet, but I already know Russell is the one everyone heates lol. Will watch and come back later after I seen it to give my review. |

Oh and the female talent is quite good this year. :) Ok I mean there is what's her name (Sand-bo??) |

It's kind of annoying that a player I love and a player I hate are both named Russell. I hope someone catches bald Russell in the act soon. I know he makes for good TV, but I want him gone! |

Fri 9/18/2009 2:06p | Russell seems like he's taking more from Johnny Fairplay's style of game than Coach's. Coach was crazy off his rocker, but what we saw from Russell last night was just mean. Dumping out canteens, destroying someone's stuff, even if it was just a sock.
Manipulative, "stir the pot" people can be entertaining to watch in a car-wreck sort of way. But mean, intentionally destructive people aren't. |

I agree and was thinking the same thing.... It was one of the best season premiere's I've seen.
What Russell (foa foa) did was mean but there he sat in tribal council, not getting a single vote.
My take on him is that he has his own money and couldn't care less about the million.
It will be interesting to see how far he goes in the game.
He owned that first episode....
