Actually Dis-Phil I think there would be a greater chance of Doobie banning you from LP.

You see Spirit actually contributes logical, and meaningful post to this board.
You however, do not.

Nice ride, does it handle as good as a Beemer?

very similar- slightly softer ride ( but not mushy) -
about $10K less than similar 3 series and is the size of a 5 series.

305 HP - AWD 18" wheels

All of that's great, but the bottom line is I think it's one of the nicest looking cars out there.

>> Perhaps they are bending MGM's hours so as to make it "need" a refurb, or a massive expansion? Call me crazy, but this is working for me. Heheh. And, it could be probable. <<

<<I really believe they are trying to funnel folks into Epcot to save on operating cost, nothing more. To me a 7 o'clock closure is to early for any of the Parks, anytime of the year.>>

Yep. Right on all counts.

Disney saves millions of dollars by closing TPFKaTD-MGMS at 7 ... and by cutting Fantasmic performances drastically.

Of course, what that does is have huge negative affect on guest spending in merchandise and F&B and it will reflect in annual attendence (although some Spirits would suggest Disney plays with numbers anyway).

I wonder how many visitors, who aren't Disney nuts, just are opting to drop the park from their visits in favor of more time at other Disney parks or visits to UNI or SW instead.

<<True, though this is standard code of practice off peak at DLP - Tuesday night in Feb, the Studios closes at 6pm and DLP at 7. It sucks, but is normal. It is likely that WDW is following suit.>>

DSP gets what? About a third (if that) the annual guest count of TPFKaTD-MGMS?

And while you can certainly call September off-peak, you can't the say the same about July.

On the Fourth of July weekend, they closed the place at 7 on Friday and at last minute extended a 9 close to a 10 and added fireworks, but with no Fantasmic still.

They were running an average of six Fantasmics much of the summer vs. the usual 14 (while some summers had even more when they could squeeze in a third show).

<<Spirit of 74 (aka Mr. Overly-Negative-Fanboy-Who-Needs-To-Get-A-Life), I sure hope that Doobie bans you and your sorry patootie from these boards sooner than later!>>

Do you have anything intelligent to say? Or add to the discussion? Are you even capable?

<<Grow up Dis-Philip and try to stop snorting the pixie dust ok?>>

Thanks for the assist!

He can go buy another pricey set of wheels, and I'm still waiting on my California Grill filet (poor VBDAD doesn't realize by the time he does dinner with me that it'll cost over $50).

Although it sounds like a great car ... I've always liked Acuras, even if I've never bought one.

No idea. My Disney dealings have taken me to DLP and DL and some industry events in LA where the Studios and ABC were the discussion topics. Ask me about those topics and I'll be glad to spill ...

I don't have a clue what is going on at WDW ... which makes me a great candidate for the exec suites! :-)
