Yay!

I loved this restaurant. I hope it is as good as I remember it, I only went after the Mondavi sponsorship ended (if I am remembering the history correctly) but we enjoyed a fantastic meal there.

Wondering if anyone has tried this out yet since it reopened?

Read elsewhere that the location was supposedly only opened for that weekend, which was Gay Days, either as an overflow or a gathering area, and that there are no current plans for a permanent re-opening.

The Gays and their wine and wit. How smart of TDA to capitalize on that.

One of my finest moments in any Disney theme park ever was at The Vineyard Room -- Easter Sunday 2001.

California Adventure was brand new, and full of promise. The Mondavi employees at The Vineyard Room were enthusiastic and knowledgeable. 'Seasons of the Vine' 'Eureka! Parade' 'Golden Dreams' -- ah, the Park that could have been.

Flash forward 8 years later -- none of it's there anymore.

Whereas 'Disneyland will never be completed' -- 'California Adventure will never be the same as it could have been.'

Didn't help, tho, that there wasn't enough such praise at the time, compared to all the kvetching, at least on the Web. O well, ancient history.

I think its weird that Twilight Bark on the D23 website announced this restaurant's reopening when it was only going to be for 2 days! There has to be more to this story.
All times are Pacific Time (US)
