Disney Consumer Products (DCP) and renowned couture designer Kirstie Kelly are launching an exquisite gown inspired by Princess Tiana, Disney's newest princess in more than ten years and the first African American Disney Princess character from the highly anticipated animated musical film, The Princess and the Frog. The Tiana gown will take its place in the phenomenally successful Kirstie Kelly for Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings line as the signature piece of an all new collection of bridal gowns. The new collection also includes the Snow White Diamond Edition gown, all new "Maidens" for bridesmaids, "Blossoms" for flower girls and a new line of fine jewelry with renowned jeweler Mouawad, each inspired by a Disney Princess character. |

Most of them hit the $2800-3400 spot.
I really do like her designs, but I always fail to see how Snow White or Cinderella, for example, shows up in her dresses. I think her designs stand on their own. I guess I expect the shorter sleeves of Snow White with a separated bodice, the ball gown shape of Beauty with a flounce, or even the slim-lines of an Aurora to be mirrored in her designs. |

I agree I feel like I could look at other designers and find dresses more similar sometimes. Thanks for the info I didn't want to make a special trip to try her collection when I didn't know if I could afford it. |

Not that I'm in the market for a wedding gown. Gotta get me a man first. |

You can get lucky at a sample sale, eBay, or other places on the internet.
Also, don't EVER forget the time-honored trick of buying a bridesmaid's dress in white, off-white, or eggshell. Even a faint yellow or pink would work. |

There was approximately 10 to choose from and the most expensive one was around $1200. I picked one of the Snow White dresses for myself at the very reasonable price of just $429 so it its possible to get one at a budget price. |
