I know of someone with some Disney postcards that came from Italy in the 1930s.

On the back it says -

Casa Editrice BALLERINI & FRATINI - Firenze
Licenza WALT DISNEY.

It's a set of four -
One with Mickey, Minnie, Clara Bell the cow, and a male mate on a roller coaster.
Second - Mickey and Donald in a ring in a circus.
Third - One of Donald & the fourth being fished out by two young "mickeys".

I probably should scan them .. and stick them on my picasa page.

But my friend and I are curious how rare and valuable they are.

I tried ebay .. did all kinds of google searches. Not coming up with anything.

But if anyone knows of a postcard site or two for 1930s Italian Disney postcards .. that would be cool.

Thank you all, in advance, for any help.

oc_dean, I'm certainly no help but came across this Disneyland postcard website a few years ago.

http://www.disneylandpostcards.com/

The owner appears to be a collector and it might be possible to contact him and see if he can shed any light on the subject. He does have a contact page, it just takes a few clicks to find it.

Good luck!!! ...and I would love to see the postcards if you do scan them.

By the way ....

Not so terribly good at scanning. Could have come out a bit sharper .. but you all get the idea:
