It's in Al's 10/13/09 column on miceage.com, entitled "Hello George & Starbucks." To be strictly accurate, he doesn't say that Starbucks is definitely coming, but that talks are ongoing. He also doesn't give a timeframe for when this might all happen. |

But think of the Starbuckian/Disneytopian possibilities!

| Jim in Merced CA Thu 10/29/2009 3:57p | For the most part, I've always enjoyed the corporate sponsors in the Park.
Monsanto, Good-Year, General Electric, GAF, Pendleton Woolens, Hills Brothers Coffee, Frito-Lay, Kodak, Wonder Bread, Del Monte, FedEx, Duracell, Stouffers..so many more over the years.
And in some ways, Starbucks as a sponsor, isn't that much different than Coca-Cola.
The only recent sponsorship that didn't quite work in my opinion, was McDonalds -- to me Disney has a better brand than McDonalds, and it always felt like McDonalds cheapened the in-Park experience.
Probably weird, but there it is.
I'd buy some of those drinks, Kar2oonMan! |
