3	mickeymeg Sat 10/31/2009 7:38a	I stayed there in 2001 and really liked it. We stayed in one of the suits, they were big enough and every one was comfy. It wasn't too fancy, but it was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is only a very short walk to the park. I would certainly stay there again.
4	WestWind Sat 10/31/2009 10:32a	We also stayed there in 2001 (March). We picked the Castle Inn because they had the suites that could accommodate the 6 of us. The suite was very large and comfortable. Staff were satisfactory, the pool was okay, short walk to DL - no real complaints. I did find that sound control from other rooms and outside was not the best. Also at that time the rooms were about due for a refurb, don't know if they have done that since 2001. Overall, it was okay, no issues but there are other places I would rather stay at now.

Did hear one thing it was good to be on the fourth floor away from the elevators facing the fireworks...that is all i have heard myself, I will be there from the 4th to the 12th...when sadly i must come home...have a great time csgoofygirl when you go ..: ) Tink-mobile
6	Mickeysbestfan Sun 11/1/2009 7:19p	Stayed there about 18months ago. Dirty, poor parking, noisy, rude employees, over all a horrible experience.
7	TINK-MOBILE Sun 11/1/2009 10:58p	My that doesn't sound good , hope they have turned over a new leaf..hopefully csgoofygirl will have better news and hope they don't have it like you did Mickeysbestfan nothing worse than having a unclean hotel, with rude surroundings...or else will have to find some where else to stay....
8	Tink60 Mon 11/2/2009 10:21a	We also stayed at the Castle Inn about 18 months ago. I had read some less than encouraging reviews on this hotel. This is what I found. It is older and really needs a lot of time and money put into it. But it was clean and the staff was efficient and friendly. We had a suite (there were six of us) and it was a nice size. One day the elevator broke down but they fixed it the same day. If you got the room for a good deal keep the reservations. It should be fine.
9	csgoofygirl Mon 11/2/2009 1:30p	We stayed there several years ago. I don't really remember it well, so it must not have been horrible. That, I would remember! We are staying in a regular room for 4. We got a good deal, it's close, a place to sleep and shower. We spend all of our time at the parks. But, I'll post when I get a chance. Not sure we are taking the computer and will be going on a 7 day cruise right after our stay.
10	TINK-MOBILE Mon 11/2/2009 5:04p	I am flying in from Vancouver on Dec 4th... leaving at 7 am ..arriving in calgary at 915 am then flying again at 1045 arriving in la at 1257 pm then i have a shuttle to the castle staying from friday to saturday morning , for 817 canadian dollars... really wanted to go home on sunday, so i could spend all saturday at the park, kinda sad , but still trying to see.. if i can;t get a room, and can change my flight, maybe i can sitt up in the lobby, would sure love to have that extra day... hope you have a real nice disney holiday csgoofygirl, if you do find out the best room area or floor to be on that would be a nice help...take care everyone, thank you for trying to help me, cindy "sNOWHITE " can't come , her kneees are hurting her too much, docs are doing some cancer tests , to make sure all is well, after you have had cancer they check for it all the time, God isn;t finished with her yet , so we know she is fine, but those knees , sure do hurt ,the walking would be too much, so she is staying home, sending me on my own, taking a chance, though , it is my favourite place on earth...ha ha ha.. looking forward to a lil note csgoofygirl if you can.. smiles from T-M..: )
