On average, we wait about 30 min an attraction (though Storybook one is sometimes a near walk on, even on busy days).

90-120 is the limit. What is great is after the fireworks, some of the rides reopen. If the kids are not too tired, that is a great time to grab either Driving School, several goes on the Spider (we did 6 back to back) or the Dragon (just don't plan on moving between attractions too much in the evening).

Cool, thanks for the advice. I'll try and get hold of you somehow, I'm singing tonight so it'll be tomorrow (BTW, I now have a video of me singing, but I've never uploaded to Youtube before, so I need to get my head round that). One last question, are the rides suitable for people of enhanced girth?!!!

I can ride everything I have tried there (so not the swings or that sort)

But I am fine on everything else pretty much - though the Dragon coaster is a little snug, as is the Pterodactol Spinner. As we know though, everyone is shaped a little differently (Chessington there were far more challenges, and Thorpe Park, pretty much forget it for me). But Legoland, not too bad!

How early before opening would you suggest we show up? Also, would a burger and chips cost similar to McD's or more?

Thanks!!!

I would say, it depends on whether you want breakfast at the park or not. What they do is they will let you throught the gate 45-30 min before park opening (you can park before that). The Big Lego Shop, the clothing shop, the sweet shop, guest relations and the Pitstop Cafe are open before rope drop (park opening time). At this time you can also buy your refillable drink cups if you would like (£5.90).

I am not sure how much a burger would run at Legoland, never had them. a hot dog I think is about £4.00, a chocolate waffle is about £2.50. Pizza (I know your mom doesn't like it) but it is about £7.90. Kids meals are about a fiver.

the BBQ place is about £10 for the ribs.

It is definately more expensive than McD's though, but cheaper than motorway services.

I suppose it is on par with DLP counter service prices really, maybe a little cheaper.

Thanks. I don't know if we would go the burger and chips route it just seemed the best comparison. Do the refillable drinks include hot drinks as well for the evening?

I think we should get there early as Mum is getting in free as Genesis's carer and has been advised to go to Guest Relations when she arrives as well.

I'm really looking forward to this!!!

I am afraid not, just the usual coke, diet coke (coke zero is available at crossed ribs), fanta and sprite.

However, they sometimes do some great deals on hot drinks at the donut shop and the coffee shop in Lego City.

I was trying to see if I could convince Sarah to go again tomorrow. She thinks we should rest because of starting my new contract on Monday.

Bummer. It would be great to have a Legoland veteran and give the kids someone new to play with!!!
