after a horrid 7 hour delay and not a great flight we ended up getting to our villa about midnight, anyhooooooooow after a quick visit to winn dixie for supplies we got to Disney's hollywood studios about 9.30 am where a quick trip up sunset blvd took us on to my fav ride and our first of the day TOWER OF TERROR,it was awsome as allways and although a bit worried at first kristine enjoyed it a lot, after that we went over to catch the first showing of indiana jones stunt show,we bypassed star tours as it was a 30 min wait and kristine didnt fancy it once she knew it was a simulator,we then hopped over to catch lights motors action first time we had seen this and we enjoyed it a lot, then off to muppetvision for some 3d fun,it was then we realised quite a few hours had gone already and it was lunch time so we hit toy story pizza planet, we had tried to book a fantasmic dinning package but it was fully booked,in fact every disney ressie was full throughout our vacation, after lunch we took a walk through the park to take in the ambience and atmospherewe then caught the little mermaid show and then hopped over to watch the beauty and the beast stage show which was great as always but still disapointed that theres no 4 for a dollar pre-show any more :( also thought they had cut the little mermaid show down some too.late afternoon saw us do backstage tour where kristine and i where chosen to take part in the warship, submarine thing beforehand, it was really good and we kicked ourselves for not giving the camcorder to another guest to tape it for us,kris then browsed a few shops as i went on star tours it was a walk on which is a first for me was a bit disapointed to see the bike speeder that you can get your pic taken was no longer there, forgot to mention the afternoon parade which was ok but i prefer the older ones that have been there over last 12 yrs or so,then over to rock n roller coaster which kris didnt do so as a single rider i had a 5 min wait, time seemed to disappear fast we had eaten at rosie's all american cafe and found we had time to ride tower of terror once more before getting in the queue for fantasmic which as always was great it was the 2nd showing that night and i reckon only 3 quarters full but still great,we never got to do one mans dream(which annoyed me) american idol (wasnt to bothered by that)sounds dangerous (closed)or the new toy story mania for some strange reason we kept passing it,all in all a great day dont know how time passed us by so fast, didnt really see many characters around the park and thought DHS not as good as i remembered it to be but i will always go just for tower of terror, rnroll coaster and fantasmic, kristine enjoyed her first day at a Disney park and so it was home to the villa for a quick beer and a look at the pics we had taken, and then off to bed to get some sleep before the next big day my prposal at magic kingdom.

Yay - the trip report is coming! Thanks for sharing amigo. And I am glad you liked LMA - one of my fav transplants from Paris.

>>>DHS not as good as i remembered it to be but i will always go just for tower of terror, rnroll coaster and fantasmic<<<

Ok, I am glad it is not just me, sadly I felt that way about much of WDW last time. FWIW - Paris has a better version of RNRC IMHO and I like the Paris Tower better too (though some disagree on this one). As for F!, you must see the California version if you like the Florida one. It seems more magical to me. Hope you guys try one of the other resorts before heading back to WDW ;-)

I'm glad you had a good time though and can't wait to read more. Thanks for sharing.

Lol - Paris is open Christmas day, but it is the 2nd busiest time of year (New Years is the busiest). I don't know if that is good timing for your first trip there, it may temper the experience somewhat.

And California of course is always an awesome choice. However, on the practicality front, getting married in Nevada with a honeymoon in California is probably an easier option for two Europeans (I know it was easier for us to get married in Lake Tahoe, but then they were really scared I would smuggle Sarah in as an alien - now with the right wing sentiments building up, I am facing more racism - but that is a story for another time).

:) love reading these....annoyed Ive only just seen them!!

7 hour delay .boooooooooooo. did they say what the reason was?

I always say DHS is my least favourite of the WDW parks, but then I think about what is there, I LOVE ToT, and RaRC, Toy Story Mania, Star tours, back stage tour. I arent as keen on the new parade either, but my friends thought it was the best ever. We love the animation tour too. So not bad for a least favourite really...lol
