I am thinking it was only $4 the last time we were there. It couldn't have been more than a couple of years ago. That seems like a big jump. |

$12.00 is what is listed on allears.net, along with "Each diner receives either salad or gumbo." I suppose that could mean each diner received a full-sized salad or soup and that could account for the increase, but I don't know. |

That is the only other place that I've been to that has had a wedge salad. The Blue Bayou salad is still good and it seems like a bigger salad but is leaves/lettuce mixture and has blue cheese, onion, tomatoes, and a raspberry vinaigrette, but I got ranch dressing instead. http://allears.net/dlr/din/men...enus.htm
has all the menus somewhat current although the Blue Bayou lists a wedge salad and doesn't do that anymore. |

Since the entrees can be rather large, as has been mentioned in several postings, this is actually not a bad deal. |

| califtink Sun 11/22/2009 12:22p | My sister and I did this last week. We split the salmon dinner. Our salads were delicious. We each received an ample portion of the delectable potatoes and the same size serving of veggies you would get with a "full" size entree on our plates, and half of the salmon. With the rolls that are served on the side, this was PLENTY for us. We had considered splitting a dessert as well, but we were too full even for that, and decided to get something elsewhere much later instead. We loved it all. |
