we got there just on park opening sped on up to the tree of life to get a quick photo and then hot footed it to EE now the both of us has never rode this it was just a mound of sand last time i was there,on approach kristine was like oh i don't know it looks kinda scary and i was like ok mind the bags because im going, she had it in her mind before we left the uk that she did want to ride EE and so through caution to the wind,we where amazed to see it was a 5 min wait and so jumped aboard and loved loved loved it now with it being a walk on we never got to see much of the queing area so we decided on way out we would ride again but lo and behold it was now a 70 min wait and like fools we left the area and didnt even get a fastpass to return so that was the only time we got to ride it,yes we did kick ourselves throughout the day as wait times got bigger and fastpasses ran out :(
so it was back to the tree of life and it's tough to be a bug great as always and kristine got one of the seats where you experience the whole package so that was great, then we headed over to camp mickey and minnie and got some pics with mickey, minnie goofy donald and pocahontas met a great family in the queue from philadelphia and had a nice chat with them before hitting the lion king show for the 2nd showing and once again loved it as did kris,we then touched very lucky as we came out 2 nice ladies asked us if we wanted their fast passes for kilimanjaro safari as they couldnt make it but we had to be there in next 11 mins so we bombed it over there where the queues were huge and after just a few mins in line jumped aboard our truck for a nice safari, like always we never got to see much the elephants hippos and ostriches were the closest everything else was hiding or sleeping but enjoyable non the less but the lines where way to big to ride again, after that we done the jungle trek and as it had given showers for the afternoon we rode the river rapids while it was still dry ended up sharing our raft with the family of ponchos who dont like to get wet(never can figure that one out)they laughed as we got wet but that is part of the enjoyment of that ride IMHO,we stopped off in harambe to eat our bagels and walked around some,it started to rain so we got a spot at beastly bazzar for the parade,i always think this is the weakest of all the parades but still watch it anyway some of the CM's in it looked like they didnt want to be in it,well as you know AK closes at 5pm so the wasnt much time left so went and done its tough to be a bug again and then headed over to dinosaur, cant remember if i have a pic of this as kristine has her head buried in my shoulder when the big dino appears, couldnt get kris to go on primeval whirl or triceratop spin as she doesnt like things that spin you around so i never bothered either we headed over to EE once more just incase the line was small but no so we left the AK and had fun looking for our car as we both forgot to look where we had parked, the funny thing was we where 10 foot away from the car when kris said no thats not ours so we where all over the place looking for our big red car and then sat on the floor crying with laughter when we got back to that same car and found it was ours after all.so then it was back to the villa for a swim and then off to DTD and to the rainforest for a lovely meal i had wanted to tackle a volcano but alas there was no room whatsoever one day i promise i will conquer that dessert.

What a great trip report. Very amusing to read about how you should have gotten EE FPs and lost your car. I'm glad you could laugh about it all and have an enjoyable time. I love Rainforest Cafe.

disney pete: Please keep in mind for next time that you can use the FP's during and after the timeslot noted on them. You just can't use them anytime BEFORE your timeslot.

Glad you had a good day! I love EE too. I liked the part where you forgot where you parked. Happens to me too.
