Topic: When Did Fast pass come to Disneyland

5	9oldmen Mon 11/2/2009 10:39p	I think I remember the initial testing was on Space Mountain and it didn't originally use machines. There were cast members handing out cards with your appointment window times written on them by hand, just to see if the concept of the assigned return time would work.

8	RockyMtnMinnie Tue 11/3/2009 7:46a	The first time we encountered Fastpass was on our trip in 2000. Kali River Rapids was designed in incorporate Fastass. Nobody understood the system and I remember getting our Fastpasses and walking through the Fastpass line directly to the front while all the people waiting in the 60 minute line gave us dirty looks.

10	RockyMtnMinnie Wed 11/4/2009 9:42a	Yep, Kali opened March 1999 and I'm pretty sure it was the first Fastpass. I don't know when they first started using it in Disneyland though. I believe it was within a year or two.
