| disney pete Tue 11/3/2009 7:40a | ok we arrived way to early we got there 45 mins before the park opened so we just sat and bathed in the sun for a while, they started to let people in at 09.40 soin we went got a locker and stood in line waiting for the official opening, once ingot a couple of loungers and headed for summit plummit once we got up there kristine chickened out so i told her to stay there whilst i whizzed down my fav slide and then walked all the way up so we could go on the family raft ride we had to wait a while as they wouldnt let just the 2 of us in a raft and they were nearly all familys, kristine liked this ride a lot,we then went on all the slides apart from slusher gusher and then bobbed around for an hour in a tube in the wave pool, then a bit of lazy river time i love this it's soooooooooooo relaxing the rest of the day after lunch was pretty much all of the same i never got to go back to the summit though as queue was huge,we witnessed a horrible exchange between a father and son the dad was leading him by the arm to leave the park and the son who was only about 11 was swearing like an old docker i mean i never heard so many different swear words come from one mouth,we had a great day relaxing and it was a hot hot sunny one so my tan progressed nicely, the only bad thing was there was no photographers around the park and we had left ours in the locker so the only pics we got of my fav water park was when we where leaving, from there with it being only 5.30 pm we headed over to fantasia gardens for a round of golf which was great i have my scorecard somewhere i got a hole in one kristine liked it a lot even though she nearly got soaked by the broomsticks, thenwe drove to kissimmee to old town we looked around the shops and where looking around by the skycoaster when a load of drunken wierdos happened by we never felt comfortable then and so left went back to villa to change and went out to perkins for food which as always was really good but we had the worst server i have ever encountered after meal we walked around some of the cheap tourist shops on the 192 before heading back for our normal bud chat and picture looking (not many today) before lights out on another great day in orlando. |

| wahooskipper Tue 11/3/2009 7:47a | I do enjoy Bilzzard Beach but I'd like to get over to Typhoon to check out the new "water coasters".
I generally like Old Town. Sorry you ran into the drunks though. |

| davewasbaloo Tue 11/3/2009 7:48a | Sounds like a fun relaxing day. And yep, Kissimmee is not the most salubrious area.
I do love Blizzard Beach. |

| Autopia Deb Tue 11/3/2009 11:19a | I wonder if your villa is in the same place as our condo. We stay just around the corner from the Perkins in Kissimmee. Can't say I've really checked out Old Town. We usually spend most of our time in the "World" and grab a meal or two at Cross Roads or someplace on 192 (Paccinos is particularly good). |
