One small clue as to just how much of a hotel this hotel would be:

"It will take a day and a half to reach the pod - which Claramunt compared to a mountain retreat, with no staff to greet the traveler."

Judging by the artists rendition, it will be more like a space prison cell.

It sounds like it will still be cheaper than a park view room at the Grand Californian. I'd be worried about the vermicious knids, though.

While visiting space would be an exiting experience, sitting out there in a "hotel" rotating around the Earth for three days seems incredibly dull to me.

Yeah, "space prison" is appropriate. I just can't imagine that it's that...relaxing. Sure, the novelty is there, but I don't think we're quite at the level of a "space vacation" yet...we haven't even done true space tourism yet...just barely scratching the surface of that.

That's why every room comes equipped with a channel for adult films.
