No, and I think the only reason to do it is if you're going on a long trip and have a lot of stuff. Otherwise, I can't imagine it is worth it. |

I tohugh maybe since we are going in Dec, it would be helpful to send our hats/gloves, extra shoes, coats, down and only have to bring carry on luggage. I also wanted to send down a very small Christmas tree for our room as a surprise. I can send an 8lb box for 13 with fed ex, that is cheaper than the $20 the airline would charge me. I am definately mulling this over and I apreciate your take on it : ) |

| dizzdis Thu 11/5/2009 2:35p | just fedex.com. Kinda just playing with the thought right now. May not really need to. When I get to the real packing list I will be able to tell more. Probably just check one suitcase. We will pack light and just do laundry at least once while we are there. The weather is so flexible it sounds like, I just want to be prepared. |

| KCCHIEF Fri 11/6/2009 9:51a | I took Frontier in December 2006 from Portland to Orlando. We had a layover in Denver---coming and going.....all went perfectly smooth. It was the week before Christmas and there was alot of bad weather (snow)...and people had been stuck in Denver airport for days.......but, our flights were uninterrupted and all went great. |

| dizzdis Fri 11/6/2009 7:55p | Thanks KCCHIEF. Our closest airport is actually Pasco, Wa but the price difference for Portland is pretty tempting. I keep tempting fate and have not booked air yet. So hard to weigh adding two travel days to the entire trip to save some money, but I am sure Disney will be happy to take it for me ;) It is a three hour drive to Portland, and it is in December..... |
