| trekkeruss Fri 11/13/2009 1:48p | I love the movie, and I have a enormous Cars die cast toy collection. So I am excited. I think it would be neat if there was a Cars collector event of some kind in conjunction with the opening of Cars Land.; I'd sign up for that! |

| LadyKluck Fri 11/13/2009 2:02p | I am excited more so for my kids who watch the movie several times a week & who have also never been to Disneyland. We are talking about waiting until this opens to take them for their first trip. |

| LOVE-DCA Fri 11/13/2009 2:14p | That is a good idea. So that you can see everything all at once and not have to make separate trips! The rule in my family when me and my brothers were small was we had to be free of nap times and potty trained in order to go to Disneyland… LOL |

| Hans Reinhardt Fri 11/13/2009 2:14p | I admit, despite my reservations about a huge chunk of DCA being devoted to another Pixar movie, that I'm curious to see how this expansion will pan out. I'm especially interested in seeing how the mountain backdrop appears from inside the park.
I'm also wondering after all these years of mediocre attendance if Carsland will be the catalyst for a major boost in traffic at DCA. |

Don't get me started. |

| Hans Reinhardt Fri 11/13/2009 3:16p | I think you all know that I'm sick to death of movie tie-ins at the parks. Too often rather than feeling like I'm in some special place when I visit DLR, it feels more like I'm being advertised to. There's nothing wrong with Disney doing this in moderation - the way that it used to - but now it feels like the place is becoming one big gigantic ad for all things Disney. I'm sure Carsland will be fun, and a potential home run for DLR, but to me most of the stuff in the pipeline is pretty mediocre by previous Disney standards. |

| Manfried Fri 11/13/2009 3:29p | Oh come on Hans, most of the Fantasyland attractions are direct movie tie ins. The Matterhorn came out of a movie. Give us a break with all your negative vibes man. The Cars Land stuff looks like it will be real fun, and will stand the test of time. |
