| Disneyday Fri 11/20/2009 12:00p | The Orlando Sentinel reported the 10 year growth projections from Reedy Creek Imrovement District. They estimate that a 5th major park may open sometime between 2014-2018. It also projected two minor theme parks to be open at WDW within the next 10 years. |

What I find interesting is the projected addition of 11,300 new hotel rooms.
But take into account these are projections from the Reedy Creek Development plan and do not reflect the actual DisCo. internal plan. |

I thought Reedy Creek and Disney Co were virtually one and the same? |

| blueharvest82 Fri 11/20/2009 8:01p | be very careful with these cnversations, spirit of 74 gets very very angry when people speak about change and progress that doesn't involve giving away free things to annual passholders. on a serious note, that timetable seems about right. by 2014 the expansions at dca, mk, and hkdl will be complete, as well as improvemnts in dhs. not to mention a brand new park in shanghai, and two brand new cruise ships and a mega resort in hawaii. i think an announcenmt between 2011 and 2014 and a new park between 2014 and 2018. To all the annual passholders and frequent park junkies who believe we should stop making new stuff and just give tlc to existing attractions, WDI listened to you and the result was space mountain, we are all seeing how that turned out, enough said. |

I know that's the official line, but it's no secret that Disney Co pulls the strings. |

| Disneyday Fri 11/20/2009 8:25p | I had heard that WDW's 5th park is the next major theme park project for imagineering after Shanghai Disneyland. |
