Rumors have surfaced that Angelina Jolie is in talks to play the villainous Maleficent in Disney's planned live-action re-telling of the "Sleeping Beauty" tale.

That would be one hot Maleficent! Add in the dragon fire..and the movie reel might melt in heat.

ORWEN: I think she's too young for that part. They need somebody older and more mature to play that part. Maybe Glenn Close or Myrel Streep or Angelica Houston.

I don't like her much but I think she's an excellent choice for this role.

You know Witches, Angelica Houston would be perfect...she did play the wicked step-mother/witch in Enchanted.

Angelica Houston didn't play the witch in Enchanted, that was Susan Sarandon.

Susan Sarandon always seems to play a witch. Angelica Houston always seems to play parts like that too though.
They should get someone not so well known. It's distracting to see someone so famous playing a role everyone is so familiar with.
