Are there any weight limits on rides? I know space does.

Does it? At my heaviest, I was 360lbs and rode everything except the ORange Stinger which I believe had a weight limit (but it didn't bother me as I do not fly 6000 miles to ride a carnival ride).

Ha, dave. :-)

Yeah, I think the Orange Stinger limit was 200 lbs.

Space Mountain can be difficult for some people, especially if they're tall.

The thing that seemed to get to me the most wass the turnstyle for the Jungle Cruise. (I know, it's not what you asked but, seriously, that thing is teeny.) ;-)

>Orange Stinger limit was 200 lbs.<

Wow really? Def did it over that. Anyways....

I can't think of any. It seems to be more of a space than a weight issue normally.

>Space Mountain can be difficult for some people, especially if they're tall.<

Yes, yes it can. Even newer ride designs don't seem to realize that a good chunk of people are now taller than 5'10"

I thought I remembered the Orange Stinger weight limit to be 250 lbs.

It doesn't really have a weight limit, more like a weight dispersement limit. In other words have two 300+ pound people in the back row would cause a problem. The last stop before you stop the ride checks that via computer and then you will be taken to a side room where a cast member will make it all better. As long as you fit, you can ride, you just might not be able to pick your seat. :-)

Regarding Space Mountain. Didn't know about stinger or SSS now.

Maybe the park should have a 200 pound limit for entry. It would clear up room throughout the park.

I wonder if they might need to put a weight capacity on Pirates at DL. When I rode it last Saturday it felt like we scraped bottom a few times and when I had a look around there were more than a few 'large' adults in the boat with me. I'm 6'3" and around 225lbs. and I felt like one of the smaller ones in that boat.

Is PotC due for a refurb and new lightweight plastic boats like IaSW was given a while back?
