Topic: Southern CA tickets deal

1	tiggertoo Mon 1/23/2012 12:37p	Hi! My girlfriend just recently moved with me back to southern California a couple months ago. I have proof of residecy for myself, but not for her. Can I purchase the tickets and get into the parks, or are they a little stricter about that these days. What should I expect/know. Thanks! FYI, she's never been to DL, and I've been talking about the place since we met. I guess that's a trait of a Disney nut, as she lovingly refers to me as. :-D

4	Autopia Deb Tue 1/24/2012 12:33p	No experience that's recent. My sister's family was able to use the So Cal tickets as AZ residents, but that was several years ago.
5	CDF2 Sat 1/28/2012 7:19a	Disney website says proof of residency required for both ticket purchase and admission for the SoCal special. Not sure how much they check on the latter .......
6	berol Sat 1/28/2012 8:46a	I bought socal tickets for family and myself last June. The only ID check was me at the time of purchase.
7	1Gee1 Sun 1/29/2012 8:34a	I just had the same experience as berol. My AZ niece was a member of our CA group of 5. I purchased the tickets, although I'm an AP; I was buying for them. I had to show my CaDL at the ticket booth, but nobody was ever asked to show ID at entry to either park.
