| AutoPost Tue 2/7/2012 4:03p | This topic is for Discussion of Latest: FastPass Changes Coming to Disney World in March
Word has made its way around the Internet that starting on March 7 Disney will begin to enforce its FastPass return windows. Currently, most attractions are pretty lax with the FastPass return times but Disney will start requiring guests to return no more than 5 minutes before the return window starts and 15 minutes after it ends. The window is usually one hour long. According to reports, the change is required as Disney begins to implement more of its "NexGen" project across the parks. |

If we couldn't get there we would give them away. Yes I did have young children when this would happen. I would tell they well we can try again later or just get in line now. |

| Witches of Morva Wed 2/8/2012 8:53a | ORDDU: This just gives my sisters and me one more reason to hate the entire Fast Pass system. We have yet to hear a convincing argument that justifies fast passes. For many years the Disney parks worked much better without them. Now they only serve to pit guest against guest in a competition that isn't even fair. Depending on what time you arrive at the parks, you may or may not have the advantage over other guests. Current Disney management seems hell bent on fixing things that aren't broken while NOT fixing the things that are! |

Our family has always followed the Fastpass rules so it will be nice that others will now as well. We love Fastpass. Who wants to stand in line for an attraction when you could be spending time at another attraction? |

| sjhym333 Wed 2/8/2012 2:00p | My sources at Disney who are working on this have told me that one of the reasons they are doing this is to increase the number of FP's being distributed each hour. Eventually it will become a part of the NextGen stuff but at first they are going to increase the number of FP's to see how it affects the lines. |
