| oc_dean Tue 2/7/2012 8:40p | And just for convenience (off from the Youtube page) ... the link to where this little gem originated from....

AND .... if you look to the right column ... go to the Tomorrowland link. And there's a couple rare black and white shots of Tomorrowland in construction - Feb 1967.

| mawnck Tue 2/7/2012 9:58p | Very nice footage (albeit with too much red, as noted on the webpage).
But why, why, WHY did they crop it to widescreen?

Check it out though. at the 2:19 point -- the Omnibus is rolling along -- next to a huge mound of dirt? :)
Where is that? I can't place it.
Also -- check out at around the 3:40 mark. Look at the guys working The Jungle Cruise -- they have bare feet!!! Wow.
Thanks for sharing. |

I'm guessing that's Holiday Hill (aka Lookout Mountain aka Snow Hill), a big pile of dirt left over from the digging of the castle moat. It now has the Matterhorn on it.

| Jim in Merced CA Wed 2/8/2012 5:34a | Wow. In all my years of learning about Sisneyland, I have NEVER heard of that Hill, or seen any pictures of it. That's totally cool!
Thanks for the link |

Yeah, I thought that at first too, but then went back and looked at it more closely, and they are wearing shoes. They're just "natural" color. I do admit to liking those costumes though, they have a very casual, tropical feel to them. |

Linked on that very page is THIS page, also with a good view of it. Also note the two horseless carriages, showing that during this period the HC's (like the Omnibus) carried visitors well into FaL, not just to the hub.
