We're coming in Nov. as we do every year. Does anyone know the prediction for busyness because of Cars Land? I hear it's opening this summer. We are coming the week of Nov. 11.

Remember November 11 is a school and bank holiday (celebrated on the 12th this year) so the 10th through the 12th or 13th will be busier than the same days a week earler.

Thank You for the info. I didn't think of that. Unfortunately we can't go the week prior. I'm crossing my fingers... I went in the summer once, nothing could be worse than that!

This year Vet's day is the week before Thanksgiving, so you could get lucky with non locals waiting a week fo the longer holiday.

I think you can expect it to be pretty busy all through the fall...

Sorry to break this to you, but it will be busy. HalloweenTime will have started back in October and that really brings in the crowds, especially the local APer's as the SoCal cheapo pass is not blocked out until Thanksgiving weekend.

But I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed that you'll have a freakishly vacant Disneyland the week your family is there.
Can I get an AMEN!

Yes...AMEN to that! I'm praying for rain, which is no big deal to me, (have I given up what region I'm from?) lol

Yeah, the fall is no longer a peaceful time to be in DL. It's Halloween, and then Christmas, with a token acknowledgement of Thanksgiving along the way.
With luck, it won't be too horrible crowded, but come prepared to wait and weave through crowds. The only time I've been in recent memory that it wasn't really crowded was mid-week in January, with a threat of rain. *LOL*

Ever seen the lines at Test Track in WDW? - unfortunately the TT kind of ride requires a lot of cast work to put parties together into groups of 6 for the cars meaning you better have an FP or otherwise you will be waiting for a good chunk of time.
