Is the price increase for the Premium Pass only? That seems high. What is it for renewal or purchase today?
Not much notice. I guess everybody has rushed to DL today ...

Looks like my kids get to visit Disneyland via XBox for the foreseeable future... It's really not worth it to go to any Disney parks these days....

Today the Premium AP is $499, the Deluxe w/out parking is $379 and with parking is $478. The Premier is $749, any word on a price increase for this?

I tend to agree. We haven't been back since 2008. This is just another disincentive for us. But as long as the parks remain packed I fear these huge price increases will remain inevitable.

When I called DL, the Premier Pass is going up to $849

Yup, the DL website now shows Premier pass at $849.

I wasn't going to be renewing my Premier Pass anyways, since we are not planning on going to WDW next year, but now I am definitely not! Holy cow, that is expensive!!!

I don't like price increases either and don't live near Disneyland to go very often. But how I justify it, I went to 3 plays last year. All 3 cost more than a single park single day at Disneyland. Plus we had to pay to park.

It's still easily justifiable. So people will still pay it.
One day to Universal is $77.
Compared that to one day one park at DL, and it's only $10 less than DL. And the two can't really be compared, IMO.
