I am fortunate enough to be part of a group that will stay for a night in two of the Disneyland Hotel's signature suites in October, for a very special occasion. I will keep you guys in suspense for now about which ones, but will post a trip report on them after my stay.

My question is, have any of you stayed overnight or taken a tour in one or more of the five (Mickey Mouse, Adventureland, POC, BTMR, Fairytale)? If so, what did you think of it? And for those who have been to or stayed at more than one, how would you rate them from favorite to least-favorite?

PS, I've been lurking on these boards forever.

I haven't stayed in one, but judging by the pics the Big Thunder and Pirate suites are my favorite.

I don't know if I've seen pictures of the Adventureland one, but I have to agree with Hans that the POTC and BTMRR ones are my favorites. If I had to pick, I would probably go with BTMRR, since it seemed like it was a more sophisticated atmosphere that was themed with a lot of western/mining influences, rather than based primarily on the branding.

The Adventureland Suite is pretty cool Ferret:

It looks like something from Indiana Jones!

I've been inside the Adventureland. I was showing a friend around the newly remodeled Hotel and he had asked me about the suites. Some folks who had won a stay in the Adventureland one overheard us and invited us to come take a look. I don't have time right now to go into detail (you can see that in the link above anyway), but, it was VERY cool. I think my favorite, though, would probably be the Pirates or Thunder ones.

We'll be staying in the Big Thunder Mountain suite (sleeps 6) and the Fairytale suite (sleeps 2). The Adventureland suite seems really neat (evocative background music/sound effects and bathroom effects) but it seemed to be booked. The POTC suite was also available, but only sleeps four...
