I am taking my wife here for our 10th anniversary. I wondered if there are any special seating areas that I should try to request when making my Disney Dining arrangements. I know that there is outdoor and indoor seating. We will be going in November, so I'm thinking outdoor will be somewhat cold. But any reccomendations that you may have to make this as special as possible would be greatly appreciated!

I have posted this before but they do have a special outdoor table seating for 2 perfectly situated to view the DL fireworks. i think it is referred to as the engagement table...might be difficult to request. Other than that specific description I can tell you it is all a special experience. They also have special seating for larger groups. I have only been once but would love to return!

LOL! Just realized something. We went in July for our 37th anniversary. When we checked in the CM noted our anniversary buttons, said "Happy Anniversary" and made a note on our tag. When we arrived at our table we balked. It was outside on the "balcony" a lovely table but it was in the FULL sun on a July evening. Holy HOT Batman. We said "no thank you" and the CM seating us acted all flustered, like we had refused a winning lottery ticket. Much ado went on and we were seated by the pass. If we hadn't watched "Hells Kitchen" we wouldn't have known that this was special seating :) Now I realize that the first table was a special table :)

Now back OT :) familyguy I'd just make sure to mention that it's your anniversary when you make the PS. Ask for a "quiet" table if that is what you want or a table by the pass if you want that. The main dining room is busy and somewhat noisy. Not so that you can't have a conversation but that is where the action is. Have fun!

Good to hear that it's popular. When I was there in the summer they were having problems getting people in there according to the bar staff.

The reservations have been full since before the restaurant opened. Perhaps the bartender was referring to the downstairs lounge. There is still confusion over the fact that no reservation is required-- and anyone can walk in and order drinks and snacks.

The bartender I talked seemed to think that it wasn't obvious enough that it was a restaurant. Unless you know (like the people with reservations), it might be easy to miss that it's a restaurant so lots of reservations, but few walk-ins.

"Perhaps the bartender was referring to the downstairs lounge."

Nope, he was talking about the restaurant. We made advanced reservations, but there was walk up seating available the day we dined there.

We do have reservations! Really good to hear you enjoyed it! I'm excited!

<<The reservations have been full since before the restaurant opened.>>

The restaurant has been running at 95% occupancy on Fridays and Saturdays and less than 80% during the week - so they have been taking walk-ups.
