I was just looking at the Tokyo Disney Resort website and blown away with all the information about upcoming events - such as Christmas (and previously Halloween). The website is decorated in the most amazing graphics. Includes pictures of special merchandise and food available. Truly a masterpiece. Check it out.

Then I looked at What a joke. Whoever designs this should get a kick up the bottom ! There is nothing about Xmas or Halloween that I could find. No graphics.. boring as anything. The worst website ever.

There is so much they can draw from in terms of characters etc. Maybe they should hire someone from OLC to "help" them, they certainly need it.

I agree though that the site could use some changes. Mostly I find that the information is inaccurate or hard to find.

About 10-12 years ago, the DL website was based on a clickable park map, which would take to you pages for lands and individual attractions, shops, and restaurants. Ever since they ditched that format, I've found the website tough to use and uninformative.

That said, they've never been very good at keeping it up to date. The fan websites (like LP) are consistently better at getting the practical information.

It's obvious the Disney Parks websites (both DL and WDW) are run and managed by people who have absolutely no idea how the theme parks operate, or what happens in a theme park when a visitor visits there.

It's almost as if the Disneyland website is run by people who have never been to Disneyland, let alone work there and know what's going on there in the next 60 days.

The Disneyland Resort website is truly pathetic on Disney's part, really.

Maybe I should offer my services and take the website over.

All I ask for is horrendously large sums of money and free access and transportation to any Disney theme park.

I must admit, I was nervous once I posted this message. I thought I would be cut to ribbons with comments supporting Disney. But was very pleasantly surprised to see you are as disappointed as me.

Hopefully someone will take notice !
