So we're coming to Disney Mar 29 to Apr 8 or 99 next year.
Just wondering which good neighbor hotel you like?
Best western park place inn, carousal inn, etc?
Thanks :-) |

| Mickeymouseclub Sun 11/18/2012 9:49a | I have stayed at Best Western Park Place many times. I recommend it because of the location and The front desk staff is wonderful. For some reason i prefer the family suite design at this hotel. My favorite would be the Embassy Suites but that location is not convenient. This hotel offers 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa fold out in the same room. The bathroom toilet/bathtub is separated from the sink/mirror giving you two separate areas. They also have a small refrigerator and microwave in each room and a continental breakfast(real basic offerings). So depending on the price difference my choices would be Park Place or Embassy Suites further down Harbor. Tell us more about the amount of people and dates/ have you had any previous visits to this area that you loved or hated??? I know a lot of people recommend Candy Cane Inn and Howard Johnson's. Let us know your decision and how it turns out for you. Good luck and have a safe trip!

| Mickeymouseclub Sun 11/18/2012 10:03a | p.s. It does seem like most of these convenient locations on Harbor Blvd need to update the rooms and facilities ( and are way overdue). I know we rationalize- we are barely in the rooms- but the prices keep going up. Does anybody know if any of these hotels have been recently refurbed? I know they did for the 50th Anniversary but not sure about current offerings. |

They don't serve donuts but still have muffins, pastries, cereal, and yogurt. None of it's super fantastic but it was nice to have more protein in the morning. |
