I was 23 and it was her 5th birthday present. I scrimped and saved and let the electric bill pile up in order to get her there.
We stayed at the Westcoast Anaheim (Now the Sheraton) and they had a closed circuit channel that played a loop of what you could do at Disneyland with "A different version of "There's Magic in the Stars" on it. I remember waking up throughout the night to catch her turning the tv on to see Disneyland a little bit more...
Flash forward...
Kiddo is getting ready to graduate H.S., and I would really like to get my hands on that footage, and take her to DL and on a cruise to celebrate...is there any sort of sub-group that collects this type of items or footage?
I would love to show it to her, and it will probably make me cry...in a good way. |

Anyway I would have loved to have video of Disneyland in 1982. That was the last trip that I took with my grandparents. I can remember how much fun it was, especially with my grandfather sadly, he passed away less than two months later. Good luck and I hope you find some video. |

It seems there would be SOMEONE out there who has this. Are you looking for the song, or the whole video? |

I'd like the video, but also the song or any combination thereof.
The best part about the song on the video was that it said, "There's magic in the stars no matter where you, here at Disneyland!"...which I believe is different than the music from the fireworks. I never saw "Believe", as fireworks were the time to do rides with short lines back then for the kiddo...
I'd appreciate any help anyone has with this. |

| DlandDug Tue 11/27/2012 4:56p | OK... the recalled lyric led me down the rabbit hole. And after much googlin', I can give you...
...about the first five seconds of the "pop" version, used in the commercial. It's weird. And it may still turn up in a full version. Here's what I found: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...ure=plcp |

| DlandDug Tue 11/27/2012 5:00p | Or is it? The comments thread say it is the outro music for "Wishes." I am not familiar with that one...
