I'm sure that it will all work out in the end and it will be a fun new attraction.

<<Is that it?>>

Basically. As I've said all along, it will be a nice, fun little attraction. Set your expectations accordingly.

It's kind of a shame they're opening this so much later than the rest of New Fantasyland. If they had opened it with the rest of the new attractions, it could have blended-in as a "nice, fun little attraction" along with all the rest.

Now, with it opening on it's own, there will be heightened expectations for the "new ride" in 2013/2014.

^^^No doubt. Add into that that at this point, nothing else will be opening in WDW until 2016 at the earliest, and you've got a very boring few years ahead at WDW.

Is this an off-the-shelf coaster?

The layout reminds me of a coaster at Legoland San Diego -- it started out slow, running slowly through a show building and then heading up a lift hill and outside through the rest of the more thrilling ride.

It was themed to medieval times as I recall.

No, it's a custom track as far as I'm aware. It's got a few helixes in it.

And the cars are supposed to swing as well. That's the "hook" of the ride.

Haven't we seen this video before?

Yeah, I remember now, there was a similar clip shown at the D23 Expo a few years ago.

Did anyone else notice that the cars aren't swinging in this latest simulation?

I did. I figured it was just because it was a previz...until I saw the older video where the cars were indeed still swinging.

I'm not going to read into that too deeply until I hear otherwise.
