| BSG_Minnie Sun 12/9/2012 10:27p | We won 4 3-day Park Passes and would like to upgrade them to 5-day. Does anyone know if DL will let you do that if the tickets were free initially? |

I had one recently that was only good for the day I got it, no changes, period. That was a twilight ticket, though, which makes sense. I'm waiting for a free ticket to show up in the mail, and see what THAT one says. Not that it makes a huge difference at this point - I've got my pass paid for again! |

Most likely there will not be any mention on the ticket that you won them and paid nothing. They will probably look like any other park hopper. Unless it specifically says you can't, I would just ask to upgrade the tickets when you get to the park. They don't even need to know you won them. If someone gave you a 3 day park hopper you would be able to upgrade even though you did not pay for them. Good luck and have fun! |

What is anyone going to do if they say, sorry, it was a free ticket so you cannot upgrade it. Would you then tell them to keep their damn ticket, I'll buy my own and then I can upgrade if I want too. |

If it from some outside source and it's just a regular ticket, then there is a chance it can be upgraded. It depends on the terms of the deal that they got. How's that for flip-flopping? |

| Brer Jules Sat 1/26/2013 8:42p | Do they say 'complimentary'? My experience with that is they will not upgrade complimentary passes. Certainly try though, with your best friendly smile, but have a backup plan or be ok with the 3 day as they advised me they cannot upgrade complimentary tickets. |

| BSG_Minnie Wed 1/30/2013 8:25p | They told us no, so we will need to pay $200 for 2-Day Park Hopper tickets each instead of the $90 we were hoping for. :( Oh well. |

| danyoung Wed 1/30/2013 8:40p | That makes sense. The actual amount paid by you for the free tickets was, well, nothing. To then get extended days at a reduced price after paying nothing just wouldn't make sense for Disney.
