The princess thing isn't behind the town. The new area will be behind the
Rancho del Zocalo Restaurant.

>>I thought DL's layout was the same as WDW's just a mirror image.<<

DL's version is essentially a mirror image of WDW's, but they are slightly different. There was more space in WDW, which allows their tracks to be slightly more spread out, where DL's are more tightly wound. At the core, they are essentially the same layout, but DL's version has a slightly more manic feel as a result.

What are the odds of BTMR re-opening before the end of September?

The article says it won't open until Fall 2013, so technically that means after September 21.

Well, I figured that with the removal of the town, or at least making it more 2D, they will gain some space there. I looked at that area last trip and noticed the buildings are much deeper than i remembered. 6-10 feet deep, in fact.

As far as the ending not being "thrilling" enough. I think it's just fine. It's a nice slow down through the old town before coming back into the station.

Looking a satellite view of park Retlawfan you can see that there is quite a bit of distance between Thunder Ridge (the town) and the old Plaza Gardens space, not to mention the train storage shed and the restaurant that sits between the two.

They can't remove the town. Rainbow Ridge is historic. Oh, wait- who do I think we're talking about here? History to them is- oh, this place is old, though still popular. It's history!!!
