I remember this show as a kid and would see it every time we went to Disneyland. It's too bad it's only playing for a couple of weeks because I won't have a chance to see it. If any of you LPers have a chance to see it please post some reviews! |

Mon 12/31/2012 5:31p | Must hasten to add here that this is not going to be THE Golden Horseshoe revue, but rather a "Salute" to the Golden Horseshoe. It looks like there will be elements of the Revue, as well as the Jamboree that followed.
Trust me, as soon as I am able to get a look at this show and share it here on LP, you will all get to find out how it turns out! |

Tue 1/1/2013 8:50a | Technically, Captain EO right now is a 'tribute', but it's essentailly the same as the original show (minus some special effects). I suspect that this 'salute' will be much more scaled down in comparion. For instance, I'd be pretty surprised if they actually had a full live band in the show (despite having the bandstand area in the balcony already built), among other things. |

Interesting. I loved the original (both with Wally Boag and his successor) but found the Bartender Sam show that followed quite dull, and was happy when the Billies replaced it. |
