This looks cute, but I'm surprised they're advertising it, since it really is a pretty small production. The crowd looks pretty large, all things considered.

Wasn't one of the old Pleasure Island clubs supposed to be NYE every night of the year? I can't help but think that place would have been more fun than this little show in TL...

Oh, I don't know-- this strikes me as pretty much what we can expect from this year's "Limited Time Magic" promotion. Events may be big or small, and will run a week or so, or only a day. While this one is rather small, I give WDW kudos for managing to produce an event on the very first day of the promotion. Over at Disneyland it starts today with Three Kings Day. Of course, next week is the Salute to the Golden Horseshoe Revue...

When they do events at Tokyo Disney, it's for the benefit of many guests over a few months period of time. Bottom line, to keep patrons interested.
How is a Limited Time event such as this going to bring some financial benefit or improved attendance numbers to he park?
The whole thing is honestly a waste of resources and time.

^^^You mean you're not now going to be planning a visit to WDW for 6 months from now just so you can be surprised as what Limited Time event will occur?

Don't you mean "see what Limited Time Magic *might* occur"? As it stands now, they don't even have the events running continuously. If you miss something, it could be a few days/weeks, meaning your entire vacation could be between events. I guess the magic is so limited that they can't even get enough of it to spread throughout the entire year.

I'm also surprised that no one at WDW seems to be clever enough to try and tie the runDisney events into this promotion. Marathon Weekend is next weekend, bringing in tens of thousands of runners on an otherwise-quite weekend, with a variety of events lasting just a couple days, yet they haven't tried to connect the two together. Perhaps they'll catch on for the Princess Half in February, or Wine & Dine Half in November (or either of the DL race weekends).

All times are Pacific Time (US)
