This news popped up today on Miceage from Al Lutz....
<<"EDITORS NOTE: With Cars Land now famous around the country as Disney's biggest theme park hit in decades, the Blue Sky Cellar will end its role of promoting the latest in DCA's 1.2 Billion dollar extreme makeover. The Cellar preview center closes on Sunday night for ten days to remove the current displays, and will reopen for the MLK Jr. holiday weekend as a preview center for next door neighbor Disneyland. The WDI plans for the Princess Fantasy Faire opening March 10th and the new Fantasyland Theater stage show opening in late May will be exhibited this winter and spring at the Blue Sky Cellar. And after that?.... -Al Lutz">>
This should be interesting. But what I find more interesting is that the DCA Preview Center will now be displaying new stuff coming to Disneyland instead of DCA. Kinda weird, but it might work fine.
I'll look forward to seeing this new exhibit, and I hope there's a model in a glass case to look at. The WDI models are always my favorite.

The plan had always been to turn it into the DLR preview center once they were done with the projects in DCA. However, it does seem strange that they spent all that time and effort to build stuff to bring people into DCA, only to run an exhibit telling them to go back to DL. It seems like DCA probably won't have any noteworthy construction in the next 2-3 years (at least), so they've got to do something with that space; though I don't know why they can't return to showing Seasons of the Vine.

The whole infrastructure for Seasons of the Vine has been removed. It was a charming show, but is now definitely in Yesterland.

If a video of a vine shows in a cellar, and nobody is there to see it, does it make a picture?

How difficult would it be to put it all back? Seasons of The Vine wasn't an elaborate set up at all.
Seems to me that the Disney Gallery should be the place for resort previews going forward, or at least until there's something in the pipeline that warrants a larger venue.

I assume these are 2014 dates they are referring to and not this year, right?

Such a cool little show.

Constance, both of those things open this spring; 2013. The Fantasy Faire opens in March (second weekend of March according to Al Lutz), and the Magical Lamp stage show at the refurbed Fantasyland Theater opens in May.

And then that begs the question...
What opens at DCA or Disneyland in 2014? Nothing?
