| AutoPost Fri 1/11/2013 9:18a | This topic is for Discussion of Latest: Disney World Announces Next Limited Time Magic Event - Canada Pavilion Meet and Greet
Each Friday at Noon Disney announces a new Limited Time Magic Event via the Disney Parks Blog. The latest event has just been announced....

The forecast at Epcot this week is sunny with a chance of flurries. For one week only, January 14-20, there will be a magical Winter Wonderland location with falling snow where you and your family can meet and take photos with some of your favorite Disney characters. It’s an all new character greeting location in the Canada Pavilion.
Times for the Winter Wonderland location at Epcot are 10:30 a.m. – 2:10 p.m. and 3:05 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.

I do love the randomly sporadic show times though.
What happens in the Canadian culture from 2:10 to 3:05 each day that they can't greet visitors? Mexicans have their siesta around that time, but what are Canadians doing then? Checking hockey scores? Re-aligning their snowmobile tracks? |

Btw, Leemac. I am hearing rumors that Phil Holmes is getting ready to retire. Have you heard anything? |

Kind of like the streetmosphere characters (or whatever they currently call them) at the Studios. But to make a big announcement about it seems kind of silly. |

| TP2000 Fri 1/11/2013 6:01p | Really, this whole Limited Time Magic thing is just an embarrassment.
They never should have said they would do this if this is the type of stuff on offer as a national marketing campaign.
And I still can't get over the show times listed as 2:10 and 3:05. As if just tacking on an extra five minutes and being closed for an hour between 2:00 and 3:00 would have put them out. Someone was only thinking of break schedules and not thinking of... you know... the customers who paid to be in the park that day.
The manager who approved publically released set times including "2:10" and "3:05" should be sent to be in charge of the laundry room at All Star Sports. |

I'm not one to be overly critical when it comes to decisions Disney makes, but this is pretty lame. |
