I heard on the local radio station that starting this week, he Fast-pass 1 hour window will now be strictly enforced. Has anyone seen this first hand or this yet another rumor?

It was discussed a week or two ago but the poster said it would begin on the 18th I think. It is surprising it hasn't been mentioned today but an article is presented in LP Lastest News on the homepage...according to the Orange County Register " DL requires FP return times to be used as indicated. I wonder how that will be accepted this weekend. It takes getting used to just from my most recent experience at WDW. I am thinking it will be a shocker for DL regulars.
And to think one could really manipulate these when it all began. Just another adjustment in the fun.

It's about time, now Fast Pass is an even playing field and the ones who "play" the system have to play by the rules...

Yep - enforcement is on! Posters on Mouse Wait have been commenting that they ARE allowing a little leeway, but try for less than 5 minutes early or late, folks - they really mean those times now!
Lots of "regulars" also know Cast Members, and thus had lots of warning. Is everyone happy about it? No, but it's the way it is.

Disneygeek.com had several pictures of the new fastpass return times signs on the Feb 15th Disneyland update section.

Here is one of the signs now showing near fast pass machines.

I am glad to see that Disney is finally enforcing its own rules on this.

You mean I can't use my fast passes from two years ago? I've been waiting a really long time to ride that ride!!!

What if you come back the same day it was printed at the correct time but two years later?

*LOL* Good luck with that! They're really good at knowing what the date is...

All times are Pacific Time (US)
