Good quote:

"The Japanese told us from the beginning, 'Don't Japanese us,'" said Marty Sklar, vice chairman and principle creative executive of Walt Disney Imagineering. "What they meant was that, 'We came here for Disney. We came for America. Don't give us Japan because we know Japan.'"

Why didn't they ask the same question when they built DCA?

THEY NEVER ASKED THE NATIVES.

"For Hong Kong Disneyland, company officials consulted a feng shui master to help in the design. Construction doesn't begin for more than a year on the park."

Gee, they asked someone local for their opinion and accepted it. Us Californians must be chumps.
All times are Pacific Time (US)
