ummmmmmm, somebody is a little bit testy. I hate to break the bad news here GGGF, but until 10:07 PM tonight, it isn't 24 hours.

| GGGF Tue 6/11/2002 1:53p | Apology accepted.
But I must point out that I live in a different time zone, and it's been much longer than thirteen hours here. Again, something else middle ground needs to be found.
I for myself, like the 24 hour rule. As for others being strict, sure, there have been execptions, but for the most part it has been honored. I don't think I've been strict about it, for some posts I wait longer than others, and others shorter, it all depends. The only reason I posted on the ones you took issue with is because they were being pushed further and further back, and I did not wish to seem them dissappear of the page.
But again, I accept the apology. |

| wendebird Tue 6/11/2002 1:59p | brotherdave, if no one else takes a guess, could we have another clue? The rules in post #1 say it should be from an animated feature. Is this quote from an animated feature? |

| GGGF Tue 6/11/2002 2:14p | I'm only testy because I had felt a bit insulted. And also because with all the new objections that have arisen out of nowhere, I will now be forced to wait for long periods of time for new posts. Factor in added waits for hints now, and we're talking possible weeks and months of inactivity.
There really should be a discussion about this, I think, so that everyone will be on the same page and can reach a consenseus on how the rules should be applied. |

Let's do it. I will start a new topic now & see what we can come up with. |

MONTHS of inactivity? I believe you are exaggerating!

| Sorrelion Wed 6/12/2002 3:23p | One more thing about the whole 24-hour thing.
This place is a message board, not a chat room. Most people here check the board once a day. Once every 24 hours. Sometimes they skip a day. I myself do not check it on the weekend. If you want closer to real-time responses, maybe we should try a chat room for LP or something. But please do not hurry me, anyone. Thank you. |
