| toon-fan Thu 5/16/2002 10:07p | A few months ago, I saw a listing on eBay for a video of Victory Through Air Power WITH Der Fuehrer's Face. The seller was in Canada or England (can't recall which at the moment) and the picture in the listing had a professional looking cover, so I thought it might have been released legitimately.
Well, I won the auction. When the tape arrived, the cover was a color copy (though from where I'm not quite sure). As I watched the tape, I realized that this was a special that had been on British television, probably in the late 80's. They had a historian introduce first the cartoon and then the movie. I assume the seller had taped the special when it was on and was now selling duplicates. If he did tape it from a broadcast show, I wouldn't classify his copy as a bootleg; mine on the other hand basically is, although I didn't know that when I purchased it. But I will keep it in my private collection; I don't intend to distribute it at all, especially for any kind of profit.

I can think of 2, but there are plenty of shorts I've never seen, so I'm open to suggestions.

Oop, my bad - I am always confusing Mickey Mouse with Harrison Ford! But when I saw that you said it was Pete and not Tommy Lee Jones, I realized my mistake. ,-)

| CuriosWolfSo Sat 5/18/2002 11:26p | "The Chain Gang" where Mickey escaped prison and Pete in pursuit with 2 bloodhounds. (One of the bloodhounds eventually became Mickey's pal, Pluto!)
"Traffic Troubles" which Pete as a cop gave Mickey a hard time as Mickey tries to move an out of gas taxi. |

| basil fan Mon 5/20/2002 5:39p | BrotherDave was first with a short in which Mickey tries to sneak a dog onto a train & Pete (rightly) tries to eject him. Another possibility is Moving Day.
I thought of Chain Gang, but wasn't sure if Pete was in it. Never seen Traffic Troubles.
