Your turn. |

| fabdisbabe Tue 10/1/2002 9:37p | Name three Disneyland sponsors who featured characters in the park.
There are more than three, so I'll give you an example:
Dusty, the Delta Air Lion, Circlevision.
Three others, the same way: name, company, attraction.

The pink "Energizer" bunny, Energizer Batteries, Star Tours (now)
Barbie, Mattel, The 'It's A Small World' Toy Shop (then) |

Orange Bird, Florida Citrus Growers, Tropical Serenade (Enchanted Tiki Birds)
RCA Dog (I forget it's name), RCA, Space Mountain

Actually, Dusty's a bad example. Sam the Eagle/the Olympics might be better. No...
Kappy, the Kaiser Aluminum Pig
Like that.

| DlandDug Fri 10/11/2002 12:31p | My immediate first thought was the Orange Bird, as well. To that I would add Frito the Kid and Aunt Jemima, both vintage Disneyland Park sponsors.
The Chicken of the Sea Mermaid was featured only in graphics in Fantasyland--although there were mermaids in Tomorrowland.
And I don't believe that Nipper, the RCA dog actually ever appeared in the Parks. |

| fabdisbabe Fri 10/11/2002 12:36p | How about one, Disney-created character, a sponsor for another company, appearing only in one of the parks (except Epcot, there's too danged many)

| DlandDug Fri 10/11/2002 12:45p | I just looked at the question again--these are all to be from Disneyland. So...here goes:
Aunt Jemima, from Aunt Jemima's Pancake House...
The Frito Kid, from Casa de Fritos, and...
The Richfield Caveman, from The World Beneath Us.
OK? |
