"Children"?
About 15 minutes ago I was listening to Elton John on my portable Aiwa cd player. His "Love Songs" album. First and last tracks are from his work on the Lion King soundtrack, along with Tim Rice who wrote the songs. "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" and "Circle of Life". Most of the cd is pretty good (aside from the 2 LK tracks):
"The One" "Sacrifice" (Not to be confused with Creed's "My Sacrifice")
"Daniel" "Your Song" (his first hit I believe) "Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me" (live, with George Michael. sorta)
"Believe" "Blessed" "You Can Make History Young (Again)".
Of all (again not including the LK tracks, those are givens) the tracks, my faves would have to be "The One" and "Believe". |

| DJ7K Sun 8/25/2002 1:10a | And before that, while chatting with a good buddy of mine from here, I was listening to "John the Revelator", Blues Brother's 2000, performed by Taj Mahal, Sam Moore, Joe Morton, Sharon Riley & the Faith Chorale (Words & Music by Son House, additional lyrics by John Landis). |
