No--this was prior in time. It was an ice-cream dish, but pre-dates the Gibson Girl. |

| monorailblue Fri 3/25/2005 7:49a | Close enough, though the Carnation Cafe doesn't sell ice cream sundaes. The answer is Carnation Ice Cream Parlor and Restaurant, hosted by Carnation Co.
It occupied the space presently taken by the Cafe and the Bakery; it had 40 tables, 15 indoor, 25 outdoor, and was a great little restaurant. Oh, well, it lost out to "progress." They had a Matterhorn Sundae, a Big Thunder Sundae, and lots of others. Mmmmm. |

| monorailblue Fri 3/25/2005 2:59p | Carnation Ice Cream Parlor closed in about 1996, if I remember correctly. Actually, reviewing this link:
http://www.mouseplanet.com/archive/carnat.htm
it looks like it must have been 1997. Anyhow, I worked there through March of 1995. (March 20, to be exact.) |
