| FerretAfros Tue 12/20/2005 2:42p | You know, it really doesn't feel all that big, especially when compared with some of the things I've seen at airports and hospitals.
Name a significant "first in the world" that can be found in the form of a Disneyland attraction. |

| trekkeruss Tue 12/20/2005 2:47p | Matterhorn: first steel coaster. |

As to Matterhorn, I think the more accurate answer is the first TUBULAR steel coaster, but maybe that splitting snow monster hairs, I don't know. |

| FerretAfros Wed 12/21/2005 2:07p | Technically it is the first tubular steel coaster, but I was just going for the general concept, so either or you can have it.
As for the parking deck and Monorail, they are both outside the park and related to modes of transportation. Also Disneyland and TDR are, to my knowledge, the only resorts with either. (Not sure about the parking garages though) |

I said "in a certain respect." They're both structures that can be found in the "real world" - not necessarily Disney- or theme park-related...malls have parking garages, cities have monorails. |

| FerretAfros Wed 12/21/2005 5:29p | I believe the canoes were originally the Indian War Canoes. At some point they dropped the "War" so they became the Indian Canoes, and are now the Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes. |

| FerretAfros Wed 12/21/2005 7:45p | Name a Disneyland attraction that has an often talked about feature, not because it is a very well done imitation, but the real thing. (Hint: it's in Fantasyland) |
