First (and probably the last) time sitting through the entire thing. Wow, I forgot how silly Monty Python comedy is. |

Pretty darn good for the genre (Baseball movie aimed at family market). Sure, it was pretty predictable, but unlike many of the "family" rentals we've taken out this summer, I didn't have to roll over 'n' go to sleep in order to survive until the end! Some good performances, some otherwise, and as usual, John Candy is Just Plain Awful. It's no "The Rookie," but it doesn't stink! |

This was a pretty good movie. I normally don't like Catherine Zeta-Jones, but this part definitly fits her! I also couldn't believe Richard Gere did all of his own singing and "dancing". I just never pictured him in this kind of movie!! I am really glad I got it, I will defintitly watch it a lot. |

I dunno if I understood the movie or not. If it's one of those movies where it's up to you to draw your own conclusion, then I got it. But if there is a definite solution to the puzzles presented, then I'm not so sure.
Strange film. Kinda eerie, kinda slow. Can't really say "go see it right away" but wouldn't say "don't EVER see it" either. |

Saw this in the theater way back when it came out and I really liked it at the time. But it was kind of painful to watch in this post 9-11 world, and I had to shut it off. |

Loved Robert Duval, Costner was ok. Great gunfight. ...................................
Up Town Girls at DTD Snacks: Large Coke w/extra ice & salted soft pretzel. I said EXTRA ICE!
OK film but Freaky Friday blows it away hands down.
......................................
Step Into Liquid at Lido Village Lido Theatre, Newport Beach. Classic theater with balcony, black light fishies on the wall.
Snacks: Cherry Soda, home made potato chips at the Lido Diner next to theater.
Awesome surf film from surfing the Great Lakes to Texas surfing on Oil Tanker wakes to Hawaii to Santa Cruz to Ireland to Tahiti and finally to the 66' wave at Cortez Banks 100 miles off San Diego.
A true inspirational surf film directed by Bud Brown (son of Bruce Brown, Endless Summer). That's what life is all about.
.......................................
And a second round with Freaky Friday at DTD. Snacks: Large Coke XTRA ICE and salty pretzel.
Film improves with age.
........................................
Pirates Of The Carribbean: Legend of the Black Pearl, DTD
Snacks: A Lapu Lapu at Uva Bar. In keeping with the theme of the film, it is made with three different kinds of rum and fruit juices.
A much better film the second time and there will be a third before it leaves.
