I loved it. My kind of movie - epic Dickens tale, great period stuff. I've decided Jim Broadbent is simply brilliant and I'm going to see anything he's in.

OMG! What have I been missing all these years watching that awful video! Widescreen is an entirely different movie! I now love this movie like I never did before. I'm sure Eyvind Earl (sp?) must be pleased to see his artwork back in its full glory. I always stop by his gallery when I'm in Carmel. It's been a while though...somebody please fill me in if he's passed away. |

I had never seen this before--but I guess my luck ran out. So bad, I barely even know where to start! How about this: "It's The Muppet Show, with Special Guest Star David Bowie!" And very puppet-showy at times, with some very bad green-screening, even for that era. Best thing to be said about the music was that at times it reached a high of sounding like it was from an after-school special. This was one painful experience! |

I really liked this movie and I adored Nicolas Cage's acting. I don't want to give anything away, so I'll stop right here. But GO SEE THIS MOVIE. |

You know, I don't think I had ever seen this movie before.. And I gotta say, I really liked it.. I loved the the Good fairies.. and the video was very nice.. I don't think it was as a dramatic of a switch as say 'Snow White', but still, quite nice... Now, on to 'the Lion King'!
