| melekalikimaka Fri 12/23/2011 6:02p | We're watching 'It's a Wonderful Life' right now. I started to bawl at the opening credits. I'm, uh, feeling a bit emotional tonight. |

| melekalikimaka Fri 12/23/2011 9:04p | Thanks, DyG. It's been a really, really hard week but I'm more emotional due to exhaustion and moments of joy and goodness that happened today. (Kind people at work, in the stores, finding out my friend's cancer is completely gone and she doesn't have to have radiation, etc). So, not all bad...just a rollercoaster basketcase kinda day. :-)
I hope you have a very Merry Christmas! |

| melekalikimaka Tue 12/27/2011 7:34a | 'A Bug's Life'. Love this movie. We gave our daughter the blue-ray for Xmas.
'The Polar Express'. The blu-ray was really cheap at Costco so we got it. I should have watched our dvd again before buying this version. While I had seen it a couple of times before, I had forgotten how much I really hate this movie. It's just too dark and weird w/o any sort of warm, endearing pay off. Ugh. So, now I have have two dang copies.
'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'. Really enjoyed it. My husband, who has not read the books, enjoyed it too. (I also enjoyed Daniel Craig. A lot.) ;-) |
