Wow, that must be a new speed-reading record! Not to mention the weight of the books. You have a lot to look forward to.

I LOVE this book!!! Wow. I am about half way through the book and I can't put it down. If you are planning on reading it, I may give slight spoilers here, but not many.....
You really end up, well so far, liking Elphaba (Wicked Witch). She is not born evil, she's just green....well she's not exactly a normal child either though. I am not sure yet what makes her "wicked", but I have an idea where it is heading. Elphaba and Glinda were college roomies! Plus you learn about her sister, Nessarose, the one the house falls on. It's very interesting though. There are a lot of interesting characters in Oz. I think I may try one of the authors other books when I finish this one. |

| DyGDisney Tue 7/6/2004 4:30p | RIGHT NOW I'm reading the LP discussion boards. But I'm also currently reading "Twelve Ordinary Men" for a book club I'm in and "Shepherding a Child's Heart" for a study/playgroup through my church. I really want to read "The DaVinci Code" though. |

| DisneyChica Tue 7/6/2004 5:29p | By all the talk of the DaVinci Code, I may have to check it out.
Right now, I'm reading From The Corner Of His Eye, by Dean Koonz.
Recently I have read The Summer of The Traveling Pants, The Notebook (excellent book), Just Ella, The Drowning of Stephan Jones, and Somewhere In The Darkness. |

| Chedstro Tue 7/6/2004 5:49p | I'm reading Bill Clinton's book. Since he's only a year younger than I am, it puts a lot of recent history into perspective. I haven't gotten to the "women" part yet (it's a very long book!) But am finding the political stuff fascinating.
BTW the DaVinci Code is a must read.
