Dickens doesn't seem to go off on barely-related tangents like a lot of other Victorian writers did. I cannot for the life of me read Nathanial Hawthorne, I tried to once, but it seemed every word of a sentence on topic would send him off on a non-related tangent. |

But goodgirl sent it to me, so i gave it a shot and its one of the best books I have ever read. If you were a kid of the 80's, or a "Play person" or someone who loves to laugh then you will love this book. It is a coming of age story with a twist. I cannot say enough about this book. I recieved it yesterday and I am 3/4 done already. Its cutting into my sleep but its worth it. |

I've also read her "fairie" series and liked it; but it seems to lack the humor that the Anita Blake Vamire Hunter series has.

Are there any books that you guys would reccomend for an 18 year old girl to read? I adore love stories, fantasy and suspense. Thanks for your suggestions!
