I have now decided that "How I Paid for College" did NOT remind me of my college years. Now that I have finished it I see they took the story in a different direction. It was enjoyable and it really did take me back in time. There were a couple of extremely real moments that I loved.

I just finished that book, too! I loved it!

I am currently reading Inca Gold by Clive Cussler. I picked up one of his books at CostCo last month and found out he's written a series staring the same character, Dirk Pitt, so I decided to read more of them.

Walt Disney: An American Original by Thomas Bob

Very good so far. Not a quick read though. The chapters are several pages long, and I can only read one chapter a night cause it takes me a while to get through them.

But I really enjoy learning about Walt! I also have: Inside the Dream : The Personal Story of Walt Disney by Greene... on order. Can't wait to read that one also!

Well I finally finished Anne Rice's "The Blood Canticle".....ehhhh. It was alright. I actually liked "Blackwood Farm" which came right before it alot better. And if this was the final of the Vampire Chronicles, there was no closure really, it just, well ends.

So now I think I real read "Memoirs of a Papillon". It is a cute little book written from the dog's point of view.

<---tapping foot impatiently because book she's supposed to read for January book club (Women in Love) has *still* not arrived. ARRRGH!

So I don't want to start another one because I'm going to have to boogie through this one when it comes.

I'm about 100 pages into State Of Fear by Michael Crichton, usually I'd have this knocked out in a few days but I've been so busy. But I have some downtime tonight so I plan on reading a lot tonight.

'The Subtle Knife' the second Dark Material book, I'm reading alot slower at the moment though with mush for brains. (or should that be more mushed than usual)

Yes, I do.

The author has created a very textured, complex yet simple world and all the creatures that inhabit it. I find it very engaging and fun to read.
